In conjunction with ACM CHI 2025, we will hold an academic workshop bringing together researchers involved in human augmentation.
The Humans ++ Workshop brings together researchers, innovators, and thought leaders at the cutting edge of human augmentation technologies. This interdisciplinary academic forum examines how emerging technologies can enhance human capabilities and transform our relationship with machine & cybernetic avatars.
We have invited international experts with a primary focus on human-computer interaction, bringing together specialists who explore the design, implementation, and evaluation of interactive computing systems for human use. These HCI experts bring critical perspectives on usability, accessibility, and the social implications of augmentation technologies.
Participants will explore theoretical frameworks, practical applications, and ethical considerations across several domains. The workshop provides a unique opportunity to build connections across disciplines, foster new collaborations, and contribute to a critical dialogue about how we can harness technology to extend human potential while preserving human dignity, agency, and well-being.
